In February 2007, the BBC commissioned The Shoji Studio to design and produce shoji screens for a room their interior designer created that was featured on the prime-time BBC1 programme, DIY SOS. The episode including our screens debuted on 13 July 2007. The photo below shows Michael installing the shoji screens, on set, with the BBC design and building crew. If you missed the programme, it will be repeated on UKTV STYLE, in the future.

When the DIY SOS programme aired, Michael and I received about 20-seconds of air time, but our shoji installation was shown for longer, and we were really pleased with the way our shoji complimented the design. One of our clients phoned to tell us that our shoji sliding doors 'made the whole design.' Thanks for taking the time to let us know how much you liked them.
